Wilson’s Whimsical Wisdom

I’m writing this from over the rainbow bridge. Sadly, I was put to sleep last Friday. My humans, Lisa and Heidi and my owners Jacqui and Michelle are all devastated.

‘Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me.. well he’s a jolly good fellow’ and all that! Yes it was my Birthday last week! 7 years old – I can’t believe where the time has gone.

I had a wonderful time at Riding Club Camp. It was super fun. I was a little nervous (me nervous, I hear you say!) about going.

Yesterday was a very special day! The lovely Badger arrived to join the team.

Having watched Guinness and I have their teeth done by the equine dentist, Arla went home and asked to brush her teeth like me and Ginny (she can’t say Guinness yet!).

Well I only went and did it, didn’t I?

I’m really very proud of myself this week. I’ve started my professional jumping career.

I’ve been waiting for this day since Arla was born! Finally, she sat on me and rode me up to the field gate.

This week I went to my first ever dressage competition and I won a rosette! Admittedly it was 7thplace and yes you have guessed it, there were 7 horses competing.

I had my 5th Birthday on Monday. Rubi and I had a lovely day celebrating.
